Our Team

Sarma Balijepalli brings over 25 years of distinguished experience in operations and strategic management to QMagna Technologies. Since joining the organization, he has been instrumental in overseeing HealthCare Service Operations across QMagna’s India and U.S. divisions, driving excellence and operational synergy.

Prior to QMagna, Sarma held senior leadership roles at AQuity Solutions (formerly MModal and CBaySystems), where he served as Vice President of Operations from 1999 to 2022 and as Executive Director during 2022–2023. His international experience includes a tenure as Director of Operations in Detroit, USA, between 2005 and 2006.

Sarma has successfully led both captive and non-captive operations for over six years, managing large-scale production units in India and providing strategic guidance to teams in the Philippines. His contributions have been pivotal in the growth of key healthcare verticals including Medical Transcription, Medical Coding, and Medical Scribing. He played a foundational role in launching Coding and Scribing operations in India—initiatives that continue to thrive under his leadership.

A proud veteran, Sarma served in the Indian Air Force from 1980 to 1995, dedicating over 15 years as an Airman. His commitment to service and discipline continues to shape his professional ethos.

Sarma holds a Master of Commerce degree and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration with a specialization in Operations. He is also a certified Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) professional and a qualified Independent Director, accredited by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) and the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA).
